Nodal Apologizes to Cazzu but Denies Infidelity: “Ángela Didn’t Break My Daughter’s Heart”

Christian Nodal has broken his silence regarding the criticism surrounding his personal life in recent months.

The singer firmly denied that Ángela Aguilar was the reason for his breakup with Cazzu and insisted that his ex-partner was aware of his new relationship before it became public.

The Controversy and Conflicting Accounts

The controversy began in late 2024 when Ángela Aguilar stated that “no one had their heart broken” when her romance with Nodal started.

However, Cazzu said she was unaware of the situation and that hearts were indeed broken—hers and that of Inti, the daughter she shares with the singer.

Amid the public debate, Nodal apologized to the mother of his daughter but also responded to “La Jefa”—as Cazzu is known—asserting that she did know about his relationship with Ángela.

“I Never Wanted to Hurt Her”

In an interview with Adela Micha, the Ya no somos ni seremos singer expressed regret for any pain he may have caused:

“There’s something that really weighs on me. And I apologize to the mother of my daughter (…) I always wanted to protect her from pain or sadness, let months pass, and so on.”

Nodal revealed that his romance with Ángela began immediately after they reconnected and that, because of this, he decided to marry her less than a month after his final breakup with Cazzu:

“I fell in love, I thought being honest was enough. I wish I had given her more time to process the sadness (…) I married Ángela in Rome on May 29.”

“Ángela Wasn’t in My Relationship”

The singer stressed that Pepe Aguilar’s daughter did not interfere in his previous relationship:

“Ángela didn’t break my daughter’s heart. There are only two people responsible—my ex-partner and I. In my story with my ex, Ángela was never part of the picture.”

Nodal also recalled that after hearing a podcast in which Cazzu shared her version of events, he decided to go live on social media to defend his wife from attacks and clarify what he saw as “unfair silences.”

The artist stated that he definitively ended things with Cazzu on May 8, 2024, after six previous breakups.

He began dating Ángela on May 14 and, a week later, informed his ex-partner that he was in a new relationship:

“For me, I didn’t cheat. She reacted calmly, without questions or drama, so I thought everything was fine… until I heard the podcast.”
With these statements, Nodal aims to put an end to speculation about alleged infidelity and emphasize that, while the breakup was painful, his relationship with Ángela began after things with Cazzu had already ended.
